Yeah looked like it was the end of the road when Nathan went off but credit to their younger brigade who really dug deep and almost got a most unlikely
win. As long as Cleary is in good shape at the end of the year the incredible run of premierships could continue.

Also was it just me or was Nelson like a complete non-factor? Is he out of shape/has been injured? I can’t recall. Did much of nothing apart from headbutt a teammate. Had one decent run.

Yeah I’ve been watching the highlights this year and seems like many more blowout games than the NRL. Obviously Salford is an extreme example of this. I’ll be completely shocked if they win a single game. I don’t think there’s been a winless season by any team in the Super League or NRL eras but these guys look as good a shot as any.

If Parra had two even moderately functioning halves they'd have walked taht. Hawkins was fine, Brown was terrible. He needs to be sent packing now tbh. Can tell he's not interested at all.

Either way, this year's premiers were not going around at CommBank yesterday.

neither of us at full strength tbf, having burto and kikau out is massive for us because neither ***ton nor hayward can find the turf with their kicks. likewise you're still without moses and even though y'all seem early contenders for the spoon i reckon once he's back you guys should clear it. hawkins' kicks were on point somehow! bench hooker with the headgear for your lot played great too. felt that your boys would be up for it given rivalry game at home and packed house, after what had happened previous two weeks and us down on troops too. second half was pretty great footy though very tense and arm wrestle
