Penrith 2022 and Parra 2001.

because they choked in the grand final, people understandably forget how completely dominant that Parra side was across the season. They just smashed everyone, set all kinds of records too.

I remember in one of the late season rounds they played the warriors (iirc) and took a player off for the last 20 minutes to practice their 12 man playing shapes for the finals. They were so ****ing good

Got me thinking and looking up old ladders. I knew the Wahs made the GF in 2002 but forgotten they'd topped the ladder.
Ivan Cleary was with them then, and son Nathan had Stacey Jones as his hero.

2021 was certainly interesting with Penrith only losing 3 games all year yet the Storm won the minor premiership on for/against.
Souths were 3rd with only 4 losses while 4th place was miles away.

How are Sharks going to contrive to lose this 25-24?
Damn that Val Holmes injury really screwed them. I tipped the Sharks but down in my heart I was rooting for the Cowboys. Sad way to go out for Feldt.

Hope to see Penrith putting them away with little fuss next week.

(Also, is anyone else so shocked how well they play when they don’t go through Hynes?)

Based on this week I’m happier we’re facing the Sharks. Both the Panthers and Storm were dominant Week 1 though.

That was actually in the first round of the finals and the first finals game the Warriors ever played (I hasten to add, it couldn't have been late in the regular season because we actually beat you in our last regular season meeting)

That flick pass from Papi was pretty special. A NSWelshman of course. One of the only decent blokes in the team.

Oh, and **** Melbourne.

As always, the QLD team kissed on the dick when it comes to decisions going their way. Melbourne shouldn't have even have had the ball
