Would help your problems Xavier. I mean you have a 'keeper who can keep clean sheets and help your problems up front.

BTW is the friendly between Australia and New Zealand in London tomorrow/today gets much/any coverage for an international match not involving England but is being played in England?

Sure can't argue with that. Schmiechel's given van der sar a clean bill of health per se so let's see how he goes. Wouldn't mind getting Park either. How does PSV do it?

Australia? Don't you mean South Seas Croatia?

I was actually quite suprised at the way we played - we actually created a few chances

Well, Liverpool are in the Champions' League next year - at least in the first qualifying round.

Liverpool v F91 Dudelange (say), should be an exciting first game for them!

Don't think they'll be too fussed about it!

I see that means the English clubs money for the season in the CL is split 5 ways instead of 4, expect some moaning now from the other sides' fans!

It was 1-0 to Oz with about four minutes left. I only know this 'cos I was channel-surfing & happened to turn over about 30 secs before Oz scored. Colosemo (or something like that!!) IIRC.

It will be one from Rabotnicki Skopje (Mac), Dinamo Minsk (Bls), Sliema Wanderers (Mlt), Pyunik Yerevan (Arm), SK Tirana (Alb), Levadia Tallinn (Est), Glentoran (Nir), TNS Llansantffraid (Wal), F91 Dudelange (Lux), HB Torshavn (Far), Kairat Almaty (Kaz) or the Azerbaijani champions (TBC).

Either Neftçi Baki or Xazar Lankaran.

Either way, I foresee 6-0 routs!
Now, be fair; Liverpool have improved no end under Rafa! They should at least hold them at Anfield. :D

So liverpool have to qualify for the champions league, at least they have a shot at getting in I guess.

Ok. It sounded orginally as if you were for direct qualification. Good to see that they didn't take away Everton's spot though.
