NZ domestic season 2023/24

Also how ****ing dire are ND
Yikes. Just what happened? It's mostly the side that won last season, but things just aren't clicking. Clarke isn't as consistent up top & the middle order collapses in a heap. Just lucky the tail can swing.
It'd be hilarious if they can pull out the three-peat from here.

Not a great start for BJ Watling taking over from Graeme Aldridge. He didn't have great success as coach of the Firebirds white ball sides either?

Does Snedden actually offer anything to this Wellington team?

Macewell and Younghusband are a very safe 8 overs.
Yeah having both McPeake and Snedden is very needless, especially when the other 4 bowlers are pretty much bankers for their quota and there's plenty of part-time options in case they aren't.

Yeah I don't think anyone here is waving Robinson's flag just yet but it feels like it isnt far off

I was beginning to think there was some kind of rule against mentioning McPeake without bringing up his pants.

I'd like some more consistency - he's a bit feast or famine. Better than just being famine like Greenwood though. I had hopes for Greenwood today as he scored a decent ton off only 70 balls in a club cricket one-dayer on the weekend (100* out of the team score of 126-3), so he's not out-of-form.

Obviously nowhere near international selection yet (not sure why I have to specify, but CW has gone in a space of a few minutes from "we love Allen" to "Allen no good, we love Robinson" to "Robinson no good, we love Mo Abbas"), but this has been a pretty incredible season from Robinson so far.

Friendship cancelled with Abbas.
