Was about to say what a good first over that was by Henry (four dots and a leg bye), but then the last ball got hit for six. Still a decent return.

EDIT: And he gets a wicket in his second.

Nitpicking yeah…but 9 balls into this game, Sumo has already misidentified an obvious slower ball by Hazeldine as ‘keeping low’ and then claimed that a dead straight ball by Lockrose ‘spun the other way’, presumably implying it was a doosra. He’s just really bad at observing and identifying what is happening, which is a big problem for a lead commentator.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Tried to bring up the Tetris world record as well, thankfully cut off by Seifert boshing a six

I'll buy into this...I watched the Aces highlights and he attributed a genuine, very obvious Gup edge through 2nd slip to the boundary 'smart batting'. I like the guy and he used to be able to call rugby well, but they're giving him far too much reach doing any level of analysis

This is a hell of a horrible collapse. Awful batting.

In other news, GP should bowl in every game he plays at every level. Gun.

Santners batting is much like his bowling. Looks slow and like he has all the time in the world
It's good to see him and Phillips coming back and standing out. Santner's batting at this level is so good (kind of like Vettori for a while in Ford Trophy).

Why does he call overs “sets” 😭😭😭

Yay, always fun when the Volts knick a win. It's great that Phillips has moved down there to give their T20 batting some real grunt.

The Volts with GP is a completely diffierent team to without him. Allows Foxcroft to play the ith confidence and anchor the innings. Hopefully we will still have Phillips for another game.
