Betham is part of the Warriors problem..he just doesn't get along with the referee & I think at times it costs the Warriors.
I just cannot see the point of the Warriors keeping Betham as captain with Wiki & Price in the side. And im absolutely certain that if the Warriors win the wooden-spoon that they'll give the captaincy to Wiki or Price anyway.

Not necessarily!..160 league players left NZ last year for overseas clubs. The Warriors aren't looking outside of Auckland for the talent!

Simon..I think you'll find alot of people would agree there. There is more talent outside of Auckland, yet the Warriors are just sitting back happy with what they've got in the Auckland region.

The Warriors should be scouting Wellington & Canterbury where there is a huge amount of talent..but I think it's too late. Teams like the Bulldogs, Manly etc are already paying money to certain clubs so that they send their talent to those teams.

Good move for both IMO. The Cowboys have made some impressive recruitments for next season, with both Thurston & Webb being possible long term players for the club.

that would be a shame to lose frawley, he would be a fantastic pick up for the raiders, hes a natrual try scorer and a pretty solid defender, if brisbane are prepared to let him go it seems obvious that Hodges will be playing on the wing with tate and berrigan in the centres again in 2005...

err gay, hes crap, the fans dont want him anyway how can he command a centre position in front of the games best centre (tate) and and australian player (berrigan). we arent gonna move berro back to halfback or hooker to accomodate hodges, we have seymour and barry berrigan and michael ryan....

The Warriors IMO have suffered from shitty, light weight fowards this season. I think with players like Price and Wiki joining the team there should be a new attitude at the team. Wiki and Price play with lots of passion and if they see players like Villasanti putting in half pie efforts they'll just shake their heads. They are players who carry a lot of mana with them, they are both highly regarded and respected, other Warriors will want to earn their respect... I think that the Warriors will improve next season
