i think u may have mid heard or read something, id say lockyer is the one being offered over 500k a year, which he deserves as the best player in the game.....

Ashley Alberts is a former broncos and cowboys winger, never played for brisbane though, hes got pace, but will be caught out in defence....

yeh hes very good, played five eigth at penrith 2 weeks ago, can also play in the outside backs, good passing game, lots of speed and can kick goals, he was 18th man for raiders in first grade a month ago, you should be pretty happy with that get...

On the Raiders still, they have signed former State of Origin back rower Matt Adamson on a 1 year deal, former penrith player currently with leeds n the ESL.

lol yeh, when he was finishing his career with penrith he was in great form, but apparently his form in england hasnt been too great, raiders may struggle next season i feel, their ins and outs are

out: Joel Monaghan, Luke Davico, Ruben Wiki.
those guys havent been replaced well enough IMO....

Jamie Feeney has followed fellow Bulldog Dennis Scott and will be a Melbourne Storm player next season.

They joined Ian Donnelly who was released from the final two years from his contract and will be in Melbourne.

After the departures of Howe, Williams, Kearney, and Reynoldson, the club needs forwards.

Next season will be an interesting one for the career of Steve Turner.

a few good signings for the storm there, ive seen all but 2 or 3 of their games this year and i dont think reynoldson has had the impact people think, quite often hes a lazy third man in the tackle and many of hit ups are "soft", ive always seen feeney as under rated and scott can be a very good first grader given the chance. Donnelly is big and mobile enough to make a big impact if he can get his fitness levels up...

Disagree there Simon. He is a very versatile player, he is just as comfortable in the centres as he is at fullback. He has deceptive speed and a good step and is a solid defender. But, in saying that 500k a year is a bit much for him, but then 5c is much too little.

kyle 500k is more than most the of the best NRL players are on, hes currently on 200k a year at parramatta and he spends most of the time injured. Wigan must be desperate for players if they are going to these lengths....

One of these days they should set up a team in the ESL, based mainly for paunchy Kiwis and Australians playing over there accumulating more funds for their retirement.
