It's the Freddie Factor ... The last time the Roosters missed out on the finals was 1995. When Fittler joined them in 1996 from Penrith, they made the finals and have ever since. The first season without him they struggle. And the only reason the Roosters have so many 'stars' is because Fittler made them look so good

Not a pleasing first 40 as a Warriors supporter. 28-12 to Penrith. Oh dear.

Ouch. That's so typical of The Warriors tho.

We're getting Broncos-Raiders up here. It's a lot closer than I thought it would be, although there was a strong hint of a knock on in Mogg's try. Think Brisbane may pull away in the last twenty as The Raiders have had to put in a lot of tackles already.

& The Knights won again! The form team of the NRL just now!!

Raiders now 18-10 ahead now, but gone to vid ref for a decison on a possible try to Brisbane.

EDIT: not given. Ruled Berrigan knocked it on.

34-28 to the Panthers now, even though I think their last try was a possible forward pass...

18 minutes to go, a really exciting game this.

Panthers 42-28 with 2 minutes to go and will win.

Hard for the Warriors to make the 8 from here. Possible but very difficult.

I'd say The Warriors are gone now, I'm afraid. Shocking result 'cos they'd hit a bit of form & Penrith looked shot last week against The Cowboys.

Big call at the end of the Broncs/Raiders game. Frawley looked to have got downward pressure on the ball which woulda given Schifcofske a kick from touch line to tie the game. Whatever happen to the benefit of the doubt going to the attcaking team?!?

Broncs and Raiders was a great game, i too think that Frawley got it down and Phil Graham's toe just sliding into touch was a bit unlucky for them too. Still the Broncs showed why they are premiership favourites.

Raiders are indeed one of the unluckiest team when it comes to penalties and the like.

Crap night in sport for me.

Warriors would be better off without Meli in the side, glad that he might be going. Good second half resurgence by Warriors was a good sign, but they did not have the legs to carry them through.

With the results going the way they are this weekend, things are looking very good for my Tigers... A win against the Sharks and a win for the Sea Eagles(which i have tipped) will see us in the Top 4 after this weekend... Add to that the fact that the Warriors and the Raiders both went down meaning that a win for us will give us a minimum 4 point buffer...

I really cant see anyway we can miss the semis...

:D :D :D :D :D

Jinxing it? I hope that the tigers make it. They are my favourite team after the warriors who seem to be gone.

The Warriors were never going to beat penrith, they don't know how to. That's 7 in a row we have lost to them. As a warriors fan I am used to this kind of defeat and know that they could very well still win all their remaining games and sneak in the 8.. not likely but heres hoping.

The one thing in your favour is your points diff. If it comes down to that yours is one of the better down there. Eels at home next week is winnable, but Storm away the week after is gonna be hard. 28 points might be enough to make it but that'll mean beating either The Storm or Sea Eagles at Brookvale.

They are a team that can def win all those games. They have the ability. Ability wise they are probably up in the top 3 or so but their decision making and discipline is terrible. Why didn't Tony Kemp start Rueben Wiki? Crazy stuff and they paid the price. In saying that they could just as easily lose all their remaining games. It will be shame if they end on a poor note for stacy jones who has been the best warriors player in history by a mile and been there since the beggining. He deserves a good send off.
