So is Wayne Bennett now teaching spear tackles in training?

In saying that those Bulldogs supporters who threw those flairs should be banned forever from all NRL Grounds in Australia and in New Zealand. We don't need those idiots at the matches.

Warriors 24
Raiders 16

Great game I thought. The Raiders were superb on defence but their attack let them down.

Hail Warriors.. what a superb performance.. maybe we are getting close to that light in the tunnel now..

I wouldn't go that far Lord. It was a dominant performance but they didn't finish the raiders off which is something they can't seem to do anymore. In saying that back to back wins don't come around that often for the Warriors and so like you I am stoked. Big crowd at the game last night as well which is superb that the people are starting to come back after a poor 15 months or so. I loved the intensity they showed in the final 20 against the Roosters and last night against the Raiders and if they can manage to keep it up then they will make the playoffs.

I am keeping the faith and praying that they keep it together.

With a bye still to come, the Warriors may only be effectively 2 points off the eight after this round. There in with a big shot if they can string a couple victories together.

Our run home - Panthers, Eels, Storm, Knights, Sea Eagles, Bye.

IMO they need to win both their remaining home games against the Eels and the Knights, beat the Sea Eagles and win 1 other away game out of the Panthers and Storm. Normally I would be confident of a Warriors win against a team travelling as poorly as Penrith but they are some what of a bogey team for us.

For those of you that are interested the finals calculator is up at nrl.com.

With my predicted results I ended up with a top 8 of

Broncos
Cowboys
Bulldogs
Storm
Eels
Dragons
West Tigers
Sharks

Warriors, Roosters, Sea Eagles and Raiders all missing out

Top Eight:
Broncos, Bulldogs, Dragons, Strom, Eels, Cowboys, West Tigers, Sea Eagles

The interesting thing was that from Storm to Manly all the teams had 32 points

Interesting Simon. The Tigers have a decent run in and I know you don't rate them but I think they will be there instead of Manly TBH. Manly are going off the rails IMO.

It will be great if Melbourne get a home final - I can fly down for the match. Would prefer it to a Satuarday match.

Personally I think it should be a top six, but that (above) is a top eight that I can respect. All eight of those teams are decent. Manly and the Sharks both have good forward packs, and the other six teams have all looked Grand Final material at some stage during the year.
