Hope so... I think Canada should be a good team if they promote Cricket in the nation the rite way.... Anyways good to hear Uganda beatings Bermuda Now there are about 8-10 nations that could challenge each other after Test Nations... This World Cup Qualifiers in 2009 should be the most competition one then the previous... That's a good sign... Hope its shown live all over the world...Uganda beat Bermuda by 43 runs !
Uganda 253 (49.4 overs)
Bermuda 210 (L Cann 73, R Trott 46)
It will be nice to see Namibia and Uganda in the next world cup in places of Bermuda and Canada (although, I think Afghanistan has a distant chance to get ahead of Uganda by 2009).
Hi guys here are the pics of new Cricket stadium under construction in Florida, USA... Stadium should be ready by next month... Looks Kool is'nt it? Guys U too pls share any new Cricket developments U know as such in this thread...
Nah, but the ultimate in contradictory smilies. Not to shabby.
Bermuda are never going to be an international-standard team. Never. The population of the entire country is smaller than a Toronto suburb, and Canada can't even get anywhere near ODI status themselves. What's the point of giving Bermuda games when they're going to field a team with an average age is about 30? These guys aren't going to be around if/when Bermuda get anywhere near international standard.
Malachi Jones and Kyle Hodsoll are each 18 and the openers are 24, but everyone else is over 30 and there are five of them over 34. The ICC is just wasting money by investing in such teams.
Who else will play? India, Pakistan & West Indies, there are lot of people out there from these countries... May be even England could slip in...Pretty nice ground down there in Florida. Never thought there would ever be a cricket stadium in U.S! Tho., who's going to play over there?? hope it doesn't turn into a cattle farm.
Kool Man... A.Obanda once again rocking with back to back fifties... Good to see constient performance from him & Kenya... On the other hand Namibia 119/3 (33.0 ov) V Canada...Kenya opted to field first and shot out the Bermudans for 174. Currently 121/2
Yup... So here it is Kenya winning quite easily... Good bowling, Wonderful run-rate chasing the target below 30 Overs, Young A.Obanda fireing, Tikolo betted well after quite a long time... So Kenya beating in all departments... Wats called a perfect fininsh... Great Going Kenya, Its time to take on Ireland, Zimbabwe or Bangladesh in order to have few points on the ODI table for the 12th teams too...Obanda finishes the match on 79* bringing his average up to 97. 194 runs in three games for this young talent.
