I was wandering that, but does playing this match he is playing now stop him for being eligible for England for a certain period? Was unsure as current match is only first class status. Regardless, Kenya needs someone with his talent.
A World Cup appearance is not stopping Eoin Morgan from pursuing an England Test cap so if they decded he was good enough I am sure they would be in after him too

If only Waters had tonned up. Anyway RakepPatel and Thomas Odoyo standing beteween Ireland and Kenya's tail with just over 50 overs to play. (Please rain)

Finally a bit of application from the Kenyan batsmen.

I was thinking today the Kenyans seem to have lost a lot of confidence. They always seem to bowl first when they win the toss even if the pitch is a belter. Pretty negative approach, but thats just the perception I get.

Only if Odoyo really hogs the strike and Kamande produces one of those dogged innings he keeps in a closet somewhere

For some reason I really want Kenya to hold on for the draw. Possibly cos Ive kept an eye on their progress over the last 2 years.

Has the period from last WCQs encouraging for the Associates as their level of playing really improved? Lot of games being played by them between 2005 - 2009 compared to 2001 - 2005?

True, its a lot more organised and noticeable, but I think the reforms on the field should carried over to the board room. The current ICC management structure is completely out of sync with today's reality which is why it is practically toothless

Or just remain not out, with someone else also being not out. Kenya go through if its a draw right?
Yep. Ireland need 11 points more than Kenya out of this game to make the final, and if it stays a draw like this they get 9 while Kenya get 3

Cool. Very intriguing stuff at the moment. Seems Kamande has really improved with the bat. Also, I was just reading a few articles, did Kamande used to bowl pace?

P.s Uh oh..... Huge wicket.

They didn't unfortunately but good to see Waters in the runs nevertheless. Hopefully he gets selected for the South African one dayers.

Also I know Tanmay Mishra is at University in India but doesn’t he get holidays and can’t he represent Kenya during say summer vacation? Looked a good player from what I saw of him and it’s a shame that he maybe lost to Kenya for the next three years or more.
