Their autobiographies were all entitled Time to Declare or some very close variant of.
Yeah when we established it was about books I did a search.
Vaughan's is titled "Time to Declare" but the only result I got for D'Oliveira was "Cricket and Conspiracy".

Edit : Probably something to do with me not being very good at searching :p

I actually didn't know what Dolly's autobiography was called - but I knew that Taylor and Vaughan both had that in their titles so I took a shot that D'Oliveira did too.

I think Dolly wrote two autobiographies in fact - one during his playing days and Time to Declare which, as you might expect, appeared shortly after his retirement. Cricket and Conspiracy was of course the acclaimed effort by Peter Oborne. Incidentally there seems to be some confusion as to whether he now suffers from Alzheimer's or Parkinson's Disease - I thought it was the latter but his Wiki entry suggests otherwise.

Okay I will give it a try.

In (X-city), I stayed with a cousin of (Y). On the first morning we parted on the doorstep, I to play cricket, he to settle a tribal war.

You have to guess,
  1. who said this?
  2. which is the X-city?
  3. who is Y?

At the end of ten questions if none of the three is out, I will disclose one as the first hint and at the end of 15 (if we reach that far) the second as the second hint.
