New Cricket Trivia - 'SJS format'

Tapioca

State Vice-Captain
>> At 49 years 119 days, James Southerton is the oldest player to make a Test debut, a record unlikely to be eclipsed

We had a 47 year old odi debutant less than 10 years ago. Who knows ?

Best economy rate for New Zealand?
In another few hours it will be 24 hours since Dark Hunter answered the last question correctly. I suggest anyone can post the next question after 24 hours have lapsed. This may be followed for the future too. This keeps the thread moving and others who visit the thread do not get stuck.

Oh !

But that wasnt a question. It was Tapioca stating that "who knows" we might have a debutant older than Southerton's 49 plus years in the future ! It wasnt a question to be answered :) He was just addressing Pratyush's "extra input" on an earlier question that had Southerton as the answer.

The last correct answer was given by Dark Hunter

Wait no longer! :P

Len Hutton
William Endean
Nathaniel Thomson
Tom Horan
Dave Gregory
Charles Bannerman
George Uylett
Henry Charlwood
James Lillywhite

Each of these players did something special in their respective test careers. Each thing was very similar. What did each player do?

I looked up Endean's player page, and found something about Hutton, and they were both firsts, and Bannerman was also on your list...
