Who am I?

I traveled all over the world, with Cricket teams.

I might be on England's side or that of the WI, SA or even Australia.

A trip to the dentist was the best thing I ever did.

Is it a member of support staff (coach, physical trainer etc) ?

If not, is it an umpire ?

If not, is it a journalist ?

Q2 Is it a coach or trainer ? no, it is etc (but yes some sort of support staff)

Bill Ferguson, the great scorer who invented (among other things) the 'wagon wheel'. The dentist was Australian captain Monty Noble and the trip got Fergie a place in the touring party to England in 1905.
