Just hitting in the dark.

Oops forgot to quote last time...Didn't that (simultaneous tests) come up recently and we realised it had happened more than once ???JASON said:Maurice Allom is correct. The record is getting 4 wickets in 5 balls. He took a hat trick and another wicket off the last ball. In fact he could've got 5 wickets of 6 balls had a close LBW off the very first ball been given, a leg bye was taken off it, following which he took the hat trick , and a 4th wicket off the last ball of the over.
His record is unparallelled because of those who took 4 wickets in 5 balls in Test history (Wasim Akram and Chris Old being the others) he is the only debutant to do so.
The unparallelled nature of the Test is that England was playing a Test simultaneously in the West Indies on the same days of this Test.
i will give u a hint as i have lost track of all the question u gave!!SJS said:There debut were NOT on the same date/month.
Theyw ere not against the same sides
They were not the same age when they debuted.
????? ?????
You are quite correct. I was slightly off the Mark when I said it was unparalleled, because the other Test in the series was also being played at the same time as a Test was being played in the West Indies by another England Test Team.membersstand said:Oops forgot to quote last time...Didn't that (simultaneous tests) come up recently and we realised it had happened more than once ???
