Very well done. :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

It IS Halford Hooker.

He was a number 11 for NSW, on Christmas morning 1928, when at 113 for 9 (facing 376 by Victoria) he joined his skipper Alan Kippax. They added 307 for the tenth wicket. Stilll a record .

He recalled that finally when he was out for 62, Kippax raced down the wicket to reprimand him, You fool, you threw it away !"

An eye and mind opener for those who think the attitude was unprofessional in those days ??

Your turn.

BTW, Hal Hooker is also the first (I think still the only) Australian first class bowler to take four wickets in four balls in Australia.

Ok fix of the missed questions -
Q1) Is it a batting record?... NO
Q2) Is it a test record ?... NO
Q3) Is it an ODI record?...NO
Q4) Did he play tests for Zimbabwe ?... YES
Q5) Malcolm Jarvis...NO

HINT: The record was broken in the last 15 years.
