Murali is a possible if he gets 4 against the current Zimbabwe side.
Don't know about that because Vaas may well have already ran through them by the time he comes on to bowl.

I am sorry :wacko:

One last one which will NEVER EVER be broken !

HOBBS AGAIN : A career spanning THIRTY SEASONS 1905 to 1934(both inclusive). Getting thousand plus runs(mostly over 2000) from first till second last. Except one season when he was sick.

Played against WG as well as Bradman. When he died in 1963, he must have been in the best position to comment on the game and the comparison between players across the bulk of the 20th century. It would be great to read interviews of him.

bradmans and lohmanns amazing average records might not be broken by any player of todays generation, but you cant write off the players from future generation. who knows, someone of them might end up with a bowling average of less than 10 and a batting average of more than 100.

Of course, nothing is ABSOLUTELY impossible but is highly improbable. But boy wouldnt it be fantastic if it happened in our life time. 8-)

That is insane. Certainly will not be beaten anytime soon with all these aggressive batsmen around.

Even better if that Batsman / Bowler is an Australian. :D

no one will beat bradmans avg.. with the technique of bowlers/sledging going around.

p.s I got 10 wickets for 0 runs in cricket 2004 vs West Indies... used an aussie player called X. Lu he was an offspinner i put the ball in the same spot and the windies just kept popin the ball up to the fielders in close. hehehe

That is unbelievable.

If I were the captain then and was batting, I would have dropped myself for the next Test.

If you cant score off a bowler in 23 overs, you should be shot.

Depends on the circumstances.

If the team need to survive on a raging bunsen pitch for the 5th day then that is great batting, and those 32 overs are actually a complete waste.

This performance was in the 1'st innings of that match on the 3rd day after India had made 457.

804 runs off 119 overs?! Run Rate of 6.75 an over!

Even then Dravid's 405 would still be a new world record. Harbhajan SIngh ton eh?

So liek, Cricket 2002 right, I decided that a highest score of 201 with Rahul Dravid wasn't enough, So I decided I was gonna make a big innings with him. Test match against Sri Lanka, my first Innings score card was like this.

1. R. Dravid - 500 not out.
2. S. Ramesh - 216
3. S.S Das - 125
4. S. Tendulkar - 98 (Got caught trying to smack the bowler over his head to bring up the Century. :{
5. S. Ganguly - 32
6. V.V.S Laxman - 0 (The computer decided to go good here, it bowled perfect line and length and turned my batsmen into tailenders. D:)
7. N. Mongia - 12 not out.

DNB - J. Srinath, Z. Khan, A. Nehra, A. Kumble

Extras - 17

Total = 1000/5-dec. Fall of wickets = 400, 706, 880, 954, 954
I think he has a few high scores in the arcade here, too. xD Pity he's on long-term internet leave (or something).
