apart from reality what is the good part from this idea for WCC?
I think its meant to make the competition fairer.....

But having said that, y should we make any more rules to make the competition fairer, since we already have the draft. Surely their should be a reward for the active managers who trade well in the off season?

As it is said by everyone it is marc only who is for this rule and others arent as no one has spoken in marc's favour. So it is simple drop this.It is that sort of thing which should not even considered in the board meeting as we can see the majority of the board members also r against it.It will be a waste of time if this issue is discussed in the board meeting.

By contrast Aditya, almost all of the negative posts on here have come from only 2 people, but the amount that has been posted makes it look like the weight is massively against it!

From reviewing the forum I have a modified proposal based on what you've said and what Age has said which might just be a good compromise...

Basically we reintroduce the trading of draft picks into the equation. Instead of swapping 2 good players for 1 super and 1 right donkey - you swap them for 1 super and 1 poor draft selection. Still have to retain all the players that have been traded in (and not traded on to another side), and the number of draft picks is the number of players you HAVE to drop.

The benefit of this that I can see is that although you will still end up with a poor player to balance the squad strength slightly, you can actually decide on what type of player you want to complete your squad.

Can people comment on that?
