Nonetheless, going from Gripper to Watson shows clearly your changing allegiances from Zimbabwe to Australia.

Kallis is simply a convenient neutral to hide behind.
Gripper was only cast aside because he stopped playing, though. I read/hear a lot about how rubbish Watson is in the Australian press here and I actually think he's quite good - and of course he has a textbook-esque batting technique which you know I'm fond of. So I became a fan.

I probably support/hope Watson does well more than anyone else because of all the (often unjustified) criticism he gets when it doesn't go so well, but Kallis is my favourite cricketer, if that makes sense. I expect him to be gun every time he bats though, so I don't have to support as hard. :p

I hear about all this criticism he gets and I never understand it. The guy averages over 50 in First-Class cricket, and has played 2 Tests. Unless you're criticising him for getting injured ATT, I just don't see how anyone with an ounce of logic can criticise him, really.

Michael Vaughan when on top form is very stylish, with those drives through the offside and brilliant pull shots.

Vaughan just looks classy when he is at the crease. His kit just looks brand-new and so well kept for, as well as being low-key but sharp at the same time.

Julian87

State Captain
Mark Waugh is easily the most stylish I have seen.

Watson is Australia's ready made replacement for Justin Langer.

Greg Chappell was pure class and so easy to watch at the crease.

M Waugh too, and Gower.

Tendy for those awesome back foot straight drives he played in the late 90s.

Rate Ganguly's off side play very highly as well, and pretty good to watch.

Pieterson for most stylish. I'm not too sure about boring but I remember a realy boring innings from Ian Bell but apart from that I can't think of much. I've heard Geoforry Boycot was pretty boring back in the day.

Stylish: Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar or Azhuraddin (sorry for spelling error) at their peak

Boring: Mark Richardson, Jimmy Adams (block block block, out)

Most exciting? I like watching KP & Gayle bat in full flight

The most stylish ever was Victor Trumper, but no-one could possibly have been more boring than Alec Bannerman, Dick Barlow or Will. Scotton.

Stylish and boring aren't opposites? A player can there for be both stylish and boring. Kallis is stylish, and because of this I don't find him boring, I just enjoy watching him bat. Cricket shouldn't only be exciting because big shots are played, or if that is why you like it, then you are missing out on a lot.
