I didn't think fusion would be the second mod to score an infraction
On the other hand its always fun to see mods lose sight of what they are supposed to do and get nasty like us peasants mocking the whole holier than thou bull**** they pretend to be.

Imagine this -

World T20 2016 final, Eden Gardens Kolkata, 2 runs needed off the last ball, Mohammad Amir is running in to bowl to Dhoni. Dhoni tries a ground-stroke but mis-hits it...The catch is going to Mohammad Hafeez...

 Exhibit A of the over-the-top faux outrage from the likes of you when it comes to this issue. You've made up crap that Amir's "unrepentant" before as well. I'm sure you'll keep making up more crap as you go along to justify the faux outrage. What a ****.

In any case, my point is that the return of Amir (or even Butt or Asif), would not tarnish the sport beyond repair. To claim that it would is hyperbole and OTT nonsense.
It's a reasonable conclusion to draw for anyone who isn't blinded by other motivations. What part of that did you find tough to comprehend?

It's a similar concept to how we have absolutely no iron-clad proof that you're an intelligent and moral person, but it's reasonable to conclude from your posts that you're a few screws in the head short of a quorum.

Absolutely unrepentant. Throw a few more smilies in there. Or develop a moral compass instead.

I think he'll go well in England. Worst would've been Australia. Hostile crowd, opposition players who love to get in your ear, conditions that don't offer movement, batsmen who routinely plunder runs at home. It would've been a disaster.

Any precedence for his visa getting rejected?
IIRC, a couple of rugby league players had visas rejected due to previous criminal activity. So I don't think it's implausible, though the rules might be different in Amir's case (the examples I talked about were players trying to play in the local competition, whereas Amir is obviously on tour so might have different categories of visas?).

Dunno. The case is so rare that it's hard to know until we get a decision.

I think this is the kind of thing that will have been 'checked' behind the scenes before hand to be honest.

Yeah the rugby league players wanted to live there which is a whole different thing.
