He is indeed. His only weakness right now is that you can run on him, he doesn't have that great an arm for an outfielder. But that's a minor quibble. If he keeps this pace up not only is he winning ROY, but he's in serious discussion for the MVP (assuming Hamilton cools off of course).They took him in the late first round as well because people were scared that he was just torching the Jersey leagues because the Jersey leagues stink. My favourite part about him is his defence, he's amazing to watch.
NLPicks for MVP, ROY and Cy Young for each league?
AL: Miguel Cabrera, Mike Trout, David Price
NL: Joey Votto, Bryce Harper, Lance Lynn (if he goes the whole season) otherwise Cole Hamels.
lol no hitters and perfect games are losing their luster, seems like every team has one going into the 8th inning on a weekly basis.Matt Cain just threw perfection for the Giants. 2nd perfect game this season!
Strasburg or Verlander next I reckon.lol no hitters and perfect games are losing their luster, seems like every team has one going into the 8th inning on a weekly basis.
Odds for the next no-hitter? My rankings would be;
Verlander
Petitte
Price
Those were dumb deals.....Votto is not worth that much let alone 12 yrs....
.354/.476/.639Nah, Votto's a stud.
i think it's unlikely they'd let strasburg go the 9 innings this season with the inning limit on him. could happen next season thoughStrasburg or Verlander next I reckon.
Or Carpenter in Game 5 of the NLDS for the Cards
