If he had started a thread on any other player, then I would happily debate the issues. But a thread started about Dhoni by someone called DhoniOnslaught is just asking for ridicule.

Indeed, just like I wouldn't take anyone called wahindiawah or gladiators in blue seriously on a pakistani v india thread.
So your comments on Danish Kaneria shouldn't be taken seriously ?

Well all of us show some kind of allegience to some player or team, some people have their fav. player's pictures in their avtars, doesn't mean one cant take their opinion on the player serieously. You are a NZ fan, doesn't mean one cant take your opinion on NZ cricket seriously.

I really have no problems if someone keeps his name as Dhoni-on-fire or or Gladiators-in-blue or timbuktu-greatest-fan etc etc as long as he can post his opinions in an unbiased manner. It is really very naive of you to concentrate on his nick rather than content of his post and iIn fact you seem equally biased by continuing your insistence on not taking his opinion seriously.

Was it Shakespeare who said 'What's in a name' ?

So Sangrah's comments on Sachin Tendulkar shouldn't be taken seriously because his user name is 'master blaster'?

To be fair, I think WahIndiaWah made a lot of valid points and was generally the best of that lot. I remember him being the biggest fan of Rana Naveed in these boards around this time last year.

Kamran Akmal only has 4 Test hundreds and 3 ODI hundreds. Two of those Test hundreds came in 2005 and he's not even crossed 50 in ODIs this year (if memory serves).
By month and a half, I meant, the span of a month and a half.

No, my name just happens to be Danish, I am not a crazed Danish Kaneria fanatic.
I don't know you from Adam (or Eve, for that matter). Your real name could be Danish, you might have Dane ancestry, have a soft spot for the pastry or you could be "a crazed Danish Kaneria fanatic". So, based on just your username, what is to stop me from assuming either of them. I could assume that you are a crazed Danish Kaneria fan, couldn't I?
If, on the other hand, I do read your posts, I might learn otherwise.
