Whether you meant this as a joke or not, its completely unacceptable behaviour being directed towards another member.
I would have expected that what has gone down the past few days in similar circumstances would have meant you would have been a little more mature here.
You can count this as an official warning, and anymore of it will result in a ban.
Any further discussion on this matter or posting of a similar nature will result in the thread being closed.

Because you can literally insult anyone you want without any consequences so long as you don't swear.
I find it ironic that i get an official warning for a time when i was just messing around (and if it hadn't been the CrickiWiki thing affecting the CDM family, then i can't see me even receiving it itbt), and yet when i do insult people, of which there's enough of it around the forums, i don't get called on it because i haven't sworn.
Should probably say this to James, but he's not online so meh.

Personally I'd say that things sound infinately more harsh when there's a load of stars. That's why things that contain swearing are picked-up on far, far more vociferously.
"You're an idiot" sounds far, far less harsh than "you're a ****".
Swearing at someone, for most people (not all, and I don't know you too well, for all I know swearing might be nothing-of-importance where you're concerned) sounds automatically much worse than just insulting sans-swearing.

I think you can easily offend someone more than by just by swearing at them and this seemed to go unnoticed, e.g, Perm continually calling people idiots really offends me (probably because I'm the one it's usually directed at
). Mitchell has a very valid point
