Death Note: Live-Actions or Anime to start?

Anime, definitely, can't stress that enough.

The live action films are OK, but completely lack the atmosphere and excitement of the anime.

Watch the anime geg, so much better. Watched L change the world the other day as well, alright, but I find the L of the live actions lacks pretty much all of the good characteristics of the anime version. Think the films are a bit marmitey tbh, I think if you watch the anime first you might not like them so much.
