After the conference, Nick Borcich, the clubs explosive midfielder, appeared moved by the presentation, "He is pretty overweight. Am I allowed to say that? Well, he has a.. larger than life sort of personality..."

guys, i'm suggesting that us tf's be allowed to vote for whoever they wish to in the battle of cw members. any thoughts?

I don't know, I don't think the Battle of CW Members really matters, I would vote for most (if not all) people in the TF forum regardless, and since we've already started doing it, don't see why we should do any different..

HUGE NEWS AT TF TRAINING

The promising careers of two TF youngsters could be at risk after a nasty incident at training tonight. As the final showdown to a series of smaller events during the week, Rob Dauth turned up to training late, prompting Nick Borcich to make comments on his lack of commitment. Dauth replied with a few choice words, and the two guns were eventually locked up in a tussle.

If it wasn't for senior members Jack McNamara and Pete Young coming in to "moderate", an all out box could've been on. Following his poor effort on the weekend, Dauth's future with the club could be in jeopardy if he doesn't work harder and put more effort in. He started on the right track when questioned by the media on his way home.

"I'd just like to apologise to the club, and promise them nothing like this will ever happen again."

Being the recluse he is, Borcich had a starkly different response.

"Just don't talk about it"

Club captain Darren Murphy was also quizzed by the media, asked what he thought of the incident and how it will affect the game on Wednesday. But he big guy wouldn't talk about the incident, apart from the fact there was alot of "big calls" in the arguement.

With the huge game against the best team of the last 5 years coming up, this surely wasn't the preparation the team needed, and coach Buddhy Blackman will have to work hard to get the team moral up, and sort this business out.

I for one am shocked and appalled. We really expected better of the guys, but hopefully they can channel that anger and kick some a*se in the game instead. But pull your heads in, guys. Don't make me get out my whip again
