TF Unites After Crisis Talks

The establishment and rebel parties have managed to come to an agreement and join forces once again. A squad will be announced shortly, comprising both rebel and establishment players. From this squad, an XI will be chosen to represent the TF against NZ.

We believe this is the best for the Testing Forum in the long term.

Very happy with Edmunds being named skipper. Definately the man for the job. Team is weakened considerably without Richards but it gives a chance for Chaulk to step up.

Good to see the issue resolved. Will have to work my way back into the side after a long lay-off due to recurring outbreaks of sudden, violent groin sweatage. You have no idea how debilitating it is until you've had it, so don't come up in here all up in my face and ****

TF Defeat Injury Ravaged NZ

Despite the recent controversy, the TFXI was able to band together and overcome a brave, second string NZ outfit. Newly appointed captain Richard Edmunds led the way with 7 wickets for the match, including 5 in the first innings. McNamara also shone in conditions conducive to spin bowling, he finished with 8 for the match. Fuller, Blackman and Bennett were all contributors with the bat.

BARNES OUT
New Zealand too good for Mittensmonger

Despite an admirable effort from young Mittensmonger, the Kiwi's got over the line to take the series to a decider. An 87 run unbeaten partnership from Oram and Franklin took the game away from the TF, where Mittensmonger had given them the upper hand with 4 quick wickets. Despite his 10 for the match, he couldn't get a noticably sub-par TFXI over the line, and the Kiwi's won by 3 wickets.
