Richards injured just hours before test

TFXI keeper and fan favourite Dav Richards has been bizarrely injured just hours ahead of the first test between the TFXI and New Zealand. Richards was believed to be relaxing with a copy of his favourite magazine, Swank, when a stray table tennis ball struck him in the eye. Richards has suffered blurred vision as a result. The culprit has yet to come forward, but teammates repeatedly claim it was renowned loose-cannon Ash Chaulk. Chaulk will now take the gloves with Rob "Mark Seaby" Dauth as Richards' replacement.
