Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
After visiting one Stephen Burke's highly publicised web site, I stumbled upon this disturbing, yet confirming, profile of the member we all know and love (well, know):

STEPHEN 'Pumba Bork' BURKE

DOB: 5/12/1988 (the same day as Frankie Muniz, Jennifer Lopez, and Walt Disney)
Batting Style: Right-handed fisherman
Bowling Style: Right arm Darren Lehmanns

One of the founding members of the Xtreme XI, Pumba is one of the least funny people in the team. He doesn’t do or say anything stupid, he is generally quite good at cricket, and there is really no way to pay him out. He likes to get into verbal stoushes with Amin over his rebelliousness, only to sit next to him in maths the day after. So…yeah. Gee, that was a short profile. When he’s not playing cricket, we have no idea what Pumba does. Probably something boring, like Maths.
Further investigation reveals that Mr Burke averages a meager 19.67, after nurdling only 59 runs from 4 games. It should also be noted that this is average is further inflated by a not out.

I think it's fair to say that garden gnomes are an important part of Botswana's economy.
I have to disagree with you there Darren. Recent studies have shown that garden gnomes, although widely associated with Botswana, and indeed the whole Botswanan economy, garden gnomes are in fact one of the poorest exports to come out of that country. As this graph clearly shows, the sale of Botswanan-manufactured garden gnomes, including the ever popular ones with the fishing rods, has decreased at an alarming rate in recent years.

A recent study shows that other garden ornaments made in Botswana, such as novelty door mats, are becoming more and more essential to the struggling nation's economy. Beautiful, hand made door mats, such as these

have taken off in recent years. In fact, the sale of such products has grown at an almost exponential rate as this graph bears out.

So, in conclusion, it would appear that while garden gnomes are globally associated with and indeed credited to Botswana, they are in fact not as pivotal as one would initially think.

Well to be honest I'm extremely impressed, and inspired.

But not perspired, like these particular gentlemen.
