That’s basically the same thing PC has been saying about Root and pitches. You can’t call someone who has averaged 65 over the last two years in decline. That’s just ridiculous.

For the Fab Four in general I think its fair to say Root and Kane are in their peaks and Smith and Kohli are in decline.
Makes sense somewhat since Kohli and Smith are a few years older. Smith was averaging 61 when he was Roots age but is down to 57 now!

Shows how you’ve got to wait before a players career is over and they’ve gone through the decline phase to rate them properly.

Ridiculous, but yeah won't say Kane has declined overall, maybe it's just Australia being too good for Kane.
