Sadly many of these Indian fanboys take any slight against any of their greats, no matter how debatable the point, as the ultimate unpardonable national offense. I've never seen a more easily triggered fanbase.

Kapil not as good as Harris? Wow, you India-hater.

Sehwag didn't play as well as Anwar in SENA? You frickin biased **** &%*^&.
No one is saying that you utter imbecile.
We’re comparing overall careers not “was Sehwag as good as Anwar in SENA”.
And Sehwag clearly the better batsman over his career because his home record is absolutely insane, and he’s got a couple of great hundreds away too.

And I agreed with ranking Sehwag ahead based on his career. All I did was point to Anwar's superior away record which set certain posters off. You can disagree but chill the **** out guys.

Brah that's just wrong and representative of the major form of cognitive dissonance perfusing this thread. You can't just compare every game a guy played to the best of the same amount of games of another guy and pretend it's a fair comparison.

The thread is clearly a terrible comparison but logic has flown at the window
It's pretty elementary logic but somehow it is eluding certain posters who want to prop up Kapil and make him something he was not.

This argument should have been 'longer good career' vs 'shorter great career' not this twisted defense of Kapil the hidden ATG.

Harris' record isn't even that well rounded?

Half his games against a useless England. Only decent against SA. Never played in India or Pakistan and didn't do well against India even in Australia.

Very good bowler no doubt, but this is a joke. He's basically had a mini Vernon Philander career, nothing more.

Saltshakerz is just butthurt abt how this WC is gng so far. U can see a pretty simple pattern to his posting. More India are successful more his obvious hatred comes through. Similarly, the more Pak suck the more obvious the hatred towards Indian cricket comes out.
Guy is looking for a fight because his current team is garbage and the best batsman has same number of centuries outside Asia as Ravindra Jadeja

Starts Mark Waugh vs Laxman thread. Even Australian posters don't vote for Waugh. Gets annoyed and starts listing Waugh centuries as if Laxman never played valuable knock.

Starts Sehwag vs Gilchrist thread , again Australian posters don't vote for Gilchrist . He gets furious and says people haven't voted properly

Starts Bumrah vs Cummins thread, most of the Indian posters agree that Cummins is bette, so there is no fight. So he brings Bumrah's 4th innings average which actually turns out to be better than Cummins.

Now taking out his frustration in this thread and Sehwag vs Anwar thread.

Don't post the truth. PEWS will call it the worst post in the thread

Let's see.

The Waugh vs Laxman idea was mooted in the Waugh vs Crowe thread. Sehwag vs Gilchrist idea came from my other pure Gilchrist thread. Bumrah vs Cummins clearly inspired by climate change.

England had a strong batting lineup in his time. And he performed in SL.

Fair enough tho he never showed his skills in Pakistan/India which is a knock on him.

Here is idea from my side. Recognise this Pakistani legend whose output is much better than Laxman according to you but ran away from Glenn McGrath in Australia to protect his average.
He averaged 0.5 in 2 tests when he played McGrath in 00 in OZ.

I am not a big Inzi supporter but yeah he is slightly ahead of Laxman. Why don't you post a thread on that?

You couldn't be more wrong on anything when TJB agrees with you on literally everything.
