Yeah he batted out of position for his entire career IMO. He was always a #5.Yeah, Fleming was an absolute beast in the subcontinent. At his weakest against early swing imo.
He was fine batting 4, opening or at 3 in test cricket though was a bit wrong. It's kinda like Taylor now. He's a 4 but definitely not a 3.Yeah he batted out of position for his entire career IMO. He was always a #5.
He did. A rabbit in headlights against genuine pace, though.Always thought Adam Parore had good technique to the spinners.
Had a randomly good record batting #3 in ODIs though. He did. A rabbit in headlights against genuine pace, though.
Yeah Italy always produce great Test batsmen. This guy must have parents from Central Districts or something (Vettori's are Italian). Everyone knows ND can't bat.
Kane just about makes up for Winston Peters.Tauranga is just > to the rest.
Better than NDs.Yeah Italy always produce great Test batsmen.
Struggling when you add the Marshalls, Twatling and Flynn. Bradman would be struggling to make up for them tbf.Kane just about makes up for Winston Peters.
Dave Johnson. He coached him from the age of eight or nine up until around he finished secondary school iirc.Man he looks a good batsman. Who coached him out of interest?
The facilities in the entire Bay of Plenty area are really second to none, unlike a lot of the country there isn't much cricket played on artificial pitches - at any level. Having kids playing most of there cricket on proper grass wickets growing up really does help keep them from developing bad habits that crop up from playing on artificial wickets, such as limited footwork.Tauranga is just > to the rest.
