Yes Muralitharan has been awesome for SL cricket, especially their spinners. That is why CA spin coach said over 90% of SL spinners are chucking the ball.
Haha lol.
Woh! This is way more complex than I knew it to be. Thanks BahnzHere are a couple of interesting articles on some (imo fairly legitimate) concerns with the new testing protocols that have tripped up players like Ajmal and Senanayanke.

but its clearly more accurate than the previous testing which cleared obvious chuckers. If anything, the current testing protocol sounds poorer and less scientific than what was used in the Perth facilities.
This is obscured further by the fact that the current testing has not been made public and no-one seems to have access to it.
its the iccOn what basis have you made the claim that they are likely to be doing them wrong.
This article on the views of UWA sort of argues against this point:but its clearly more accurate than the previous testing which cleared obvious chuckers.
Did your phone have a 48 degree angle after taking it out of your pocket though?if so, also fails...Slightly related, just got an iPhone 6 and was playing with the slow-mo video during training. was completely shocked when i saw footage of my action. Beginning remedial work asap.
I suggest the ICC use slow motion videos and Dr Velocity's superior judgement to crack down on chuckers. It's better than the farce that the system is now.
So what are you suggesting, the ICC tested Ajmal and blindfolded him so he didn't know what was happening.Probably on the basis that lack of transparency usually hides no good, and also the historical records of ICC's uselessness.
It is only the UWA that are asking for the protocols and why should the ICC have to give them the protocols.I said it first, give the damn protocol.
Its only the UWA that is complaining and they have no interest in this. The boards of the players being tested all seem happy and are part of the ICC and have access to everything. People are blindly sprouting garbage from the UWA that has no relevance to the issue.I don't know but the only other expert in the field is probably someone we should consider the opinion of. We haven't even been advised of how the ICC are testing the players.
I'm all for cracking down on players but it still has to be done correctly.
Because good scientific process involves this little process called peer review. It is only the UWA that are asking for the protocols and why should the ICC have to give them the protocols.
And its up to the ICC who if they decide to have a peer review, the UWA have no call in this at all. UWA is just jaded because they have been excluded from the process.Because good scientific process involves this little process called peer review.
