I'd rate Wasim as a top 8/9 fast bowler. I don't rate Bumrah that highly yet.

Something has to go extremely wrong for Bumrah to end up below Wasim after he's fully done.

Bumrah should focus more on Test Cricket 🏏 and try to atleast cross 350 Wickets by the end of his Career and with a Good Away Record of 225 Wickets. He needs to improve his Performance against Kiwi 🥝 to Stop @Fuller Pilch voting against Bumrah.

The way he's doing now is pretty good for me. He just has to keep that up. He would most likely end up with 300+ wickets @20/21.

What if his pace drops after coming back from injury? Like shahen afridi pace dropped from 140+ to low 130s .

If Bumrah can replicate 2024 Season one more time he will be right up there in conversation with Sub-Continent Bowlers like Imran, Wasim and Waqar.

Waqar away against non-minnow teams during his full career: 139 wickets - Avg 29

Since SL was non-minnows after 1985, 11 more wickets agaisnt SL makes it 150 away test wickets agaisnt non-minnow at avg of 28-29.

Waqar against non-minnow away: 150 test wickets with Avg of 28-29.

I wouldn;t be really citing 211 wickets and Avg of 26. Some play veyr little away games against minnow and some have played zero. Count only non-minnow teams to do apple to apple comparisons. Waqar reord is not good enough to be compared withBumrah and many other greats. 211 wickets does nothing for Waqar when being compared to tier 1 pacers.
