JAMTests - they are upon us

England 5 nations in 3+ test series this year being labelled meaningless :laugh:

While most countries play 2 match series. JAM cricketweb post more like
Not a fan of two match series but I think a degree of scarcity makes test cricket special. One of those five match series will be England's fourth tour to (and sixth series against) New Zealand in 7 years. I'm bored of seeing us play them.

Yeah, I really want us to tour SA and the Windies as we haven't done it for years.

New Zealand is my favourite opponent in test cricket. Always really good contested series. Would love to have a 5 match series home and away against them

The series we played there last year(albeit bloody stupid it didn't count to WTC points) was an absolute cracker. Needed more matches.

I don't view any series of 3 or more tests meaningless.

Even a 2 match test series is more worthwhile than any ODI or T20 bilateral series.

What a cracker that second Aus-WI test was, yet you'd have to pay me to watch them play in an bilateral white ball game. Couldn't care less.

But therein lies the problem. Those nations lose money to host tests.

ICC needs to do something and change the revenue model so that all nations benefit from playing tests.

Get rid of JAM ODI's and T20 and support nations into playing more tests.

The WTC is utterly pointless when it's decided on percentages rather than actual points.
