What I find depressing about these numbers is it re-emphasises that KW will be lucky to play even 2-thirds of the Test matches that Root will in the next decade or so, unless something dramatically changes with the FTP (not even sure they call it that anymore).

I never claimed any of this. Use what you want. But my advice would be don't get worked up about a guy with 12 centuries, who scored 4 centuries in one series in Australia, and who averages 46, being rated highly.
