But overall I agree. Dhoni isn't solely to blame. But he is a part. The BCCI, the players and the coach are also to blame. It's a collective ****-up.

Yeah but the criticism around the Indian batting hasn't been that they didn't perform. It has been that they stopped giving a ****. You can't say that of Dhoni.

No one's saying it was. But by his standards overseas in swinging conditions, it was close to something miraculous.

Lets not forget that Dhoni in the second half of the series almost always came in the middle of a collapse when the ball was still swinging big, and scored most of his runs trying to protect tailenders.

and absolutely true.

The difference in Ross Taylor's slip catching since Watling took over the gloves has been night and day. I don't think he's dropped one since the change over.
