Just curious:

What would you two guys call Afridi? Would you call him explosive or a swing and miss hothead?

(A side reason for the interest is that I couldnt fathom why a couple of my friends seem to believe in this guy..)
Swing and miss hothead, an individual above the team.

Remember the C&G Final in 2001?

And Choora, you still haven't shown me some evidence that de Groot belongs in that group....

So the Big boy went for zero in the first match at the hand of a part time spinner. Hahahah ....I was infact waiting for this moment!!
OK, i'm gonna observe Mr Degroot progress throughout the tournament, lets see if your hero have a better luck next time!!
Talking about luck, your hero "Warne" doesn't seems 2 be enjoying it much right now:lol: , after consumption of a dozen of diuretics i guess he must be spending much of his time in the rest room reading newspapers:lol:

Anyway i hope that he doesn't face a 2 yr ban, otherwise we might not see him again on a cricket field

When are India next touring Australia? If Warne gets 5 wickets then I think we will see a distinct lack of these kind of posts...

Anyway what's happened to Warne is about as funny as what has happened to Rhodes...it just isn't funny.

Rhodes is unfortunate, as it stands, Warne's is his own fault!

Yes but it is still not funny. I feel he is innocent but we will find out soon enough.

Anyway is it just co-incidence that both players were due to retire after the world cup and they end up missing most of it? Watch out Wasim!

Warne is never going to be much of a sucess against India.

As Warne and Rhodes episodes, what happened to Rhodes is tragic, but as far as Warne is concerned, Warne indeed is at fault himself. And as Pollock said Warne did something that was "STUPID".
I have my sympathies with Warne, but he has to pay the penalty for his wrong doing!

Has the B Sample taken place yet? No, so he's innocent till proven guilty. I really doubt it will come out positive, even if it does he won't get a long ban. Oh and Warne could very easily be a success against India. Anyway we'll see soon enough...(about the sample, but an India tour of Australia can't be far away)

First of all according to the Australian medical experts there is very little chance that the second test is going to come out negative, i'm not sure how this expert thinks otherwise:rolleyes:

Secondarily, I have myself stated atleast twice that i would be more than glad if Warne doesn't faces a two yr ban.
And Warne easily being a success against India?? if so why was he such a big failure untill now throughout his career? I can understand people saying that Lee and Bracken would give India a hard time but those who think that Warne would destroy India that too easily are living in fool's paradise!

Those who write off Warne usually live to regret that they said such a thing.

I am not an expert but I do know that he is not guilty until he is proven so. He has not been proven guilty yet, so he's innocent. You are just speculating when you say that he is likely to test positive in the B Test. I am not.

How is Warne innocent?? the second test is to detect as to whether Warne took diuretics or not, and Warne has himself admitted that he took them. I can't see how the second test can come out negative.

And how can people say that the whole episode wasn't funny?? Warne claims his *MOM* gave him the medicine and Warne being the perfect mamma's boy took them without bothering as to what they actually were.Clearly either Warne is a big fool or there is more to the story than what is being told. But my personal opinion is that Warne is just stupid!

You have to understand that Indian batsmen are masters of spin and even their tailenders can take Warne with ease. You can dream of Warne destroying India, but on this i can say with atmost ease that he will never be able to much.Moreso Warne will be able to play atmost two test series in future against India, considering he hasn't done well in so many series over the past years, its nothing but a desperate hope that Warne will do something great the tnext time around.

As for the test, as Tres said, Warne has admiited that he took diuretics, therefore the TESTS MUST be positive. Its not speculation, its medical science , had Warne said that NEVER took them than i wouldn't had been saying that!

He may not have done anything, but yet again I'll say write Warne off at your peril, the guy has an almost magic ability to prove you wrong.

Yet again I'll say we will wait for the test to prove it.

Why did I have to repeat both?

Can you prove that his mum didn't give him the medicine? No? Then don't say it...

Unfortunately (for India) Warne won't get much test to play against India

Lets hope that the long acting diurectics that he took disappears from his body miraculously!

Answers:

1. He will get at least 6 Tests to play against India before he retires, injuries permitting of course

2. Do I have to keep repeating that there is such a thing as a B TEST which is needed to get a clear result. This test still has not taken place. He is still innocent.

LOL:lol: Then don't say what? i said that i believe Warne took the pills from his mom and as such he is stupid. If i had doubts about the story, i would have never called him stupid! Understand???
