Is Mushtaq Mohammad Underrated?

There is a surprising amount of unanimity for AT Pakistan XI
I think at this point the only spot in question should be #6. Nobody needs 4 pacers and Saqlain is very quality. The rest of the top order pick themselves, as does the bowling attack.

Rizwan seems to have established dominance over Akmal.

If you wanted to get real crazy you could go Hanif as keeper and have MoYo + Mushtaq.

That's a bit too crazy imo. Mushtaq is also pretty consistent over MoYo here for the 5th bowler role. The only variations I have seen:
A) The most common is the ones with 4 pacers. They just drop Mushtaq for Shoaib or Fazal, sometimes Asif; and have Imran at 6. Think it's kinda useless with that bowling attack, especially since the batting is relatively weak.
B) Then a few go with Abdul Qadir over Saqlain. Bullshit, they mostly do for reputation. Some go for Yasir Shah as well, but rarer.
C) Another very common is the wicketkeeper. Pakistan has produced a few class keepers and a few keepers quite good with bat, but hardly a one Great at both like Rizwan. Still, I particularly entertain the idea of dropping Anwar for MoYo and opening with Imtiaz Ahmed, imo the next best after Rizwan in balance. Also, since Imran can bat at 7, Rashid Latif, Moin Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed (he will bat higher though) and Wasim Bari are certainly ideas.
D) Can go for Asif Iqbal or Mudassar Nazar (dropping Anwar for MoYo again) for Mushtaq, but don't like that at all.
E) The last and the rarest variation, a few do genuinely rate Zaheer Abbas or Yusuf over say Inzamam and include them.

MoYo to me is a total softie in these high pressure games. So we can afford to leave him out.

Imran at 8 and Wasim at 9 is enough batting depth.
