Despite his clear username advantage, that bloke isn't even a captain of any teams on that site.

Pattinson was injured and wouldnt have batted. Declaring with just the No 11 left is not such a fantastic or aggressive move.
Beer was number 11...... I wouldn't say he could batNumber 11 not a bad bat however.

awtanot enough Misbah love n this thread .
It's nothing to do with aggression to make a declaration like that. It's stupidity. The other captains aren't dumb enough to make such a ludicrous declaration that screws your own side.
What captain wins all the time, look at Strauss he got his ass handed to him by Pakistan.Lets wait and see how Clarke gets on against a good side, after all he failed to beat New Zealand at home. Not exactly brilliant form that is it?
yes because the captain remotely controls every single one of his playersLets wait and see how Clarke gets on against a good side, after all he failed to beat New Zealand at home. Not exactly brilliant form that is it?
I'm not as big a wrap on Clarke's captaincy as several in this thread but this is a silly argument IMO. Unless you think Australia lost to New Zealand because of poor captaincy then it's not really relevant.Lets wait and see how Clarke gets on against a good side, after all he failed to beat New Zealand at home. Not exactly brilliant form that is it?
Using your criteria he then thrashed India. He's gone from hopeless to the best that's possibly ever lived in one series. He could be at the bottom again if he draws his next series against whoever isn't England though.Lets wait and see how Clarke gets on against a good side, after all he failed to beat New Zealand at home. Well so far he has done well in SL poorly against NZ, brilliantly against India (who doesn't at home though) and is winning in WI. He is being hyped up yet his team may lose next week and draw the series against WI. Not exactly the record of a brilliant captain. The opposition played so far haven't been the strongest so as I say we wait to see what happens against a better side like Pakistan, SA or England. Be able to judge his side and his captaincy much easier after series against those sides.Using your criteria he then thrashed India.
