How does the IPL auction work, is there a list of a certain amount of players that the clubs choose from or can they choose anybody that plays international cricket?

They have list of 350 players from 11 countries......all having their respective price cap($200,000~$400,000)...respectively....each franchise have a max limit of 9m$ to spend.......

Thanks, what are the other two countries though? :huh: My understanding is that there are 9 major countries that would be eligible to participate in something like this. Although I have seen of this dutch player who has been playing in a lot of the big leagues.

Guess you mean Ryan ten Doeschate. Yeah he is part of the auction. Technically anyone can play in this. Just have to have made a name for yourself.
