Very nice cricketers Shri. Reminds me of the original ICC which had the wicketkeeper bug. Wicketkeepers who could only be run-out, I always tried to avoid them for my own teams, but a nightmare when playing other county sides.

Yeah, been a long time since I had a specialist bat. Every one of them are wicketkeepers though not like they can never be dismissed. Just batsmen who are too good compared to batters from other teams. Would gladly give every one of them up in exchange for great bowlers.

Tim McIntosh just batted through just over 5 sessions, scoring 125 from 498 balls. Pretty typical :p

Last season he played 7 innings, scoring 486 runs at 69.43, with 3 centuries at a strike rate of 34.42

And somehow in domestic cricket hes cored 89 in a T20 match (his career strike rate for T20 is currently 92.36)

In the next match he batted through the innings for 99* off 323 balls, as the rest of the lineup collapsed.

Edit:

Test match finished in 3 days. Raval on debut scored 1 in both innings.

Nice to see Todd Astle performing well for you - is that with the original database or your adjusted one?

It's with the original database - he was doing well on my iPod so I thought I'd start a game on my computer and see how he went in that. Not too bad it would appear, as he has mid 20 averages in both tests and ODIs

Here are the career stats for most of my test/odi batsmen and bowlers. I'm about to start the 2034-2035 season.

my current first XI for tests is:
Lynn (C) - 35
Allenby - 28
Darkes - 37
Hales - 26
Vincent - 30
Kennedy - 33
Law (WK) - 32
Shelley - 35
East - 25
Gunson - 28
Wise - 33

My ODI lineup is a lot more volatile but this is my preferred team when they're in form:
Lynn (C) - 35
Ripley - 35
Hales - 26
Kennedy - 33
Darkes - 37
Allenby - 28
Wallace - 22
Smith (WK) - 24
Gunson - 28
Wise - 33
McGregor - 25

Some gun players there - Lynn and Darkes especially. Interesting that Allenby's got such a good test record but has only hit 3 ODI tons.

Why have over two hours suddenly gone?

Maybe I shouldn't bother. Quite likely to take over my life.

(Fwiw, 4 games with Yorks, all victories. Suspect they let you start easy in your first season. Or maybe I'm good at one of these for a change)

lol I just clean swept India in a 5 match ODI series as NZ in 2013. Beat them in the test series as well

First season was entertaining. Won 7 of my first 8 matches mostly on the strength of my batting, with Lyth, Bairstow and McGrath having very good returns and Jacques Rudolph being the top run scorer in the championship, with 8 hundreds and averaging over 70. Brought in a youth player late in the season called K Mitchell, who scored two fifties on debut to save a game and later scored a hundred.

My bowling fell away in the second half of the season with Shahzad losing form and my overseas signing Ryan Harris, who continued to be excellent in LO cricket, averaging nearly 45 in the CC. I failed to close out from three winning positions and ended up 3rd in the table.

Adil Rashid had an absolutely amazing season. He averaged nearly 50 with the bat, scored six fifties and a hundred from #7, and was also oneof the top wicket takers in the league with 65 wickets at 20.41. He still hasn't been picked for England.

Have played ICC since ICC2002, and I'm pretty sure this is the biggest over I've seen. The guy ended up making 131* off 66 with 15 fours and 5 sixes. Immense.

Absolutely massive. I think my best over in any version of ICC is about 19.

Have hit 6 4s in an over in ICC 2005. Hit 5 4s and a six once in ICC 2005. Got to be my best over.

Had a look through my screenshots to find my best overs. I've got a 27 run over but that includes two extra deliveries, so my best in 6 legitimate balls is 25. Ironically, I managed those feats off the same Dutch bowler in the same one-day league but in separate seasons six years apart.
