Canada need 30 runs to win. One wicket left.

And he's out! Scotland win by 29 runs.

Kenya all out 331 with Kamade hitting 73 and West taking 4-94. Nice lead for Ireland to build on.

Our batting order is somewhat unusual in this game. Alex Cusack is batting at 3 while Gary Wilson is batting 7. Wonder what the story is behind that.

Two more wickets for Tikolo who also opened the bowling, chance for an unlikely 10 in the match.

212 ahead going into the final day, judging the declaration could be tricky but I'd have thought Ireland would want to be bowling before lunch.

could go down to the wire this. Ireland trying desperately for the win, Kenya to hold on,,,

Kenya survive. Phew what a match:laugh: Now imagine if that was the opening round in a three match test series:)

The pacemen seemd decidedly unpenetrative/unluvky for Kenya. Good captaincy from Ouma thought to work a way around it. Nonetheless somehow one feels Varaiya should have played.

I think Ireland may have used the extra day to take the last two wickets ;).

Definitely. They're being played in places inhabited by something other than cows so I'll have to try to get to one.

Now namibia is gone i expect kenya and ireland to be top guns,ie smash the other teams, fitting result.

other than the opening stand by Bray and Stirling, I felt Kenya were always competetive in this. A far better performance than i expected tbh and from what ppl on the ground are saying, there seems to be a new determination in the Kenya team under Ouma. Too early to make a definitive call, but he may just be exactly what we need. His bowling changes seemed to vary much more as the game progressed - I wonder if this was him taking more decisions rather than relying on the advice from others.

No mention thus far of Canada v Kenya?

Steve Tikolo in the verge of adding another ton to the 158 he knocked together in the first innings. What a legend. Took two cheap wickets too.

Back-to-back tons for Tikolo. :)

And Waters closing in on his maiden first class ton. Surprised he hasn't been given a chance with Surrey this season.

Yes, we've obviously been far too good for him to ever get a look in.

Just been checking his 2nds scores actually, I'd forgotten he was on the books this year. 89 v Somerset his best, and a few middling scores - 48 v Sussex, 58 and 39 v Middx, but not the eye-catching scores a 2nd XI player needs. Chris Murtagh hit 154 v Gloucs and it only got him a game or two. And runs haven't really been the problem, it's been bowling sides out twice - or, in some cases, once.

Canada six down with plenty of time left. Rizwan Cheema is not a four-day opener I think - lasted about 20 balls in the match here - brilliant one-day opener but should be batting 5 or 6 in these games.

I thought Taibu's ban was imposed by ZC? If so it seems a bit odd he's effectively still playing for them. Not that ZC probably work by usual rules... (mind you, probably no cricket board does).

Good stuff from Afghanistan so far. Apart from Taibu, the Zimbabweans hardly smashed them and a decent score in reply.

Wickets falling all over the shop in the Bermuda-Uganda tie.
