Yeah I see your point, but when you have guys who aren't able to really accelerate in the latter stages of the game then it can be a problem because a lot of games inevitably need you to score at the highest strike rates towards the end where your wickets are not really important.

Viru's playing very unlike himself in this IPL, how come we can't get him to play with this mindset when he plays for India lol. Just playing mostly on the merit of the ball (against Kallis), respecting the bowler who's bowling well with leaves and defensive shots (Morkel).

Yuvraj produces the best all round performance in the ipl ever and he's still going to lose. Poor guy just can't catch a break.
