India team RR thread

International Regular
Pujara, Rahane were also playing for their test careers.
This side is younger and more adept in playing bounce. Gill did well last time around and he has definitely improved as a test batter, Jaiswal is an upgrade over whoever we had last time as opener.

Kohli is definitely gonna outscore Hanuma Vihari, the only missing piece is mohd Shami, but he didn't play much last time too.

NZ series was a one off, it higlighted something we always knew i.e we are bad against spin on turners, Australian conditions are different.

We took NZ for granted and paid for it, now players will be more focused.

I have a lot of faith in this team and I think we are atleast winning 2 matches.
The one positive is the brand of cricket Australia play can evoke the best out of opposition, they aren't humble like NZ, when they are on top they will let you know about it and their fans too are similar, this kind of stuff historically brings the best out of guys like Kohli and Rohit

I like your optimism/delusion, I even share in some of it because why else even watch this ****, but we didn't just take NZ for granted, we were humiliated. Taking for granted would imply we dusted ourselves off after Bengaluru and played true to type for the rest of the series. What we saw instead was a team that no longer believes in itself to overcome the occasional reverse. I fear our faith might not be rewarded this time around, Mr. Wisden.

All this philosophical thinking doesnt really apply when it comes to sports, we defeated Australia with 9 of our main men missing.

What I saw vs Nz was our inability to play spin on difficult pitches, rank turners turn into a lottery where any team can win, the only difference being that our greatest all time cricketer in home conditions who never missed a shot finally missed one and it exposed the wholenarrative that we can play on those kind of pitches.

The worst thing about being an India fan here is that there will always be blow-ins whether we win or lose. Its just different posters (or at least user names) but the same ****. :(

I wonder which will be worse.. our 5-0 ass whoppin' or the blow-ins who hype us to the moon and disappear after the lossses or the blow-ins that show up to post only when we lose.
Don't be scared, I will save you from Aussie posters if we lose.

And now there are reports of Gill getting injured as well. So Rohit isn't going for his son's birth/naamkaran, Rahul got injured while batting, Gill got injured while fielding.
So we opening with who, Easwaran and Gaikwad now or what? Sundar? At least it is starting to give off 20-21 BGT injury vibes

Zip it fool. Don't come in here and spread your anti-Gambhiring around but disappear when we get an ass whooping.
What happened nancy boy ? Why do you watch test cricket?
You are clearly a beta male, go check pickleball, its more up your alley.

This Indian team is filled with fighters, Pant's left fingernail carries more masculinity and fight then your entire personality.

You've already got your ass whooped here, but knowing you, you might have liked it.

Yeah don't see a target of more than 325 being set here and that's no randirona either. Should be enough but certainly not holding out for another blockbuster day of batting.

I suppose it all depends on how the wicket plays today. If it’s like yesterday anything lower than 200 more runs will be disappointing but probably enough to win.

I honestly hope it turns demonic again so we can bowl Australia out cheaply.
