He's definitely got a chance of making the cut by the 2nd, 3rd or 4th Test. Let's see how bowls in the next innings and how his body holds up after the match.

Have you seen the clips? He’s gained a bunch of weight and looks slow.

I think the 2nd Test will be a stretch. Maybe 3rd since it gives him a month.

Probably bowling around 130 perhaps but was nipping the ball nicely and beating the edge.

On second thought, I don't think India will pick him in the squad until someone else gets injured and ruled out.

Mukesh Kumar, Navdeep Saini & Nitish Reddy have run through India's batting order.

Yashasvi Jaiswal - 15
KL Rahul - retired hurt
Shubman Gill - under 20 (unsure)
Virat Kohli - 15
Rishabh Pant - 19
Dhruv Jurel - under 10 (unsure)

India around 80/6. All of the batters were dismissed via an edge except Pant (Bowled)
The main takeaway is that they’ve struggled against short of a length bowling on not a very spicy WACA pitch

These guys can't bat against Reddy and Saini, let alone the Aussie trio. **** this ****

NZ already exposed this lot against pace and bounce in Bengaluru. They really are terrible. Could get bowled out in double digits once again. Possibly multiple times in the series. Ominous signs. Can't even ****ing play Mukesh and Saini anymore!?! No wonder they lost so badly at home. 2011/12 all over again.

These guys batted against The same aussie trio and defeated them by 2-1, don't know why a team who played a draw series against west Indies in home conditions is getting hyped to the moon, no probs though, reality will hit them hard.

They always had problems against lateral movement, this team can play bounce as well as any other team, Perth will offer pace and bounce but not much lateral movement after the initial burst.

Pink ball is the only test where we would need a lot of luck to even complete.

It's better to have low expectations after India's recent batting performances

The last time we won in Australia, 9 of our main players were injured, Australian conditions are tailor made for Indian Batsman. Also with Bumrah in the side I cannot see Aussie scoring a lot.
That side was unburdened by what has been..

This current Indian side come to Australia under a lot of pressure , some of them are playing for their test careers .

Pujara, Rahane were also playing for their test careers.
This side is younger and more adept in playing bounce. Gill did well last time around and he has definitely improved as a test batter, Jaiswal is an upgrade over whoever we had last time as opener.

Kohli is definitely gonna outscore Hanuma Vihari, the only missing piece is mohd Shami, but he didn't play much last time too.

NZ series was a one off, it higlighted something we always knew i.e we are bad against spin on turners, Australian conditions are different.

We took NZ for granted and paid for it, now players will be more focused.

I have a lot of faith in this team and I think we are atleast winning 2 matches.

Whatever it takes!!!
The worst thing about being an India fan here is that there will always be blow-ins whether we win or lose. Its just different posters (or at least user names) but the same ****. :(

I wonder which will be worse.. our 5-0 ass whoppin' or the blow-ins who hype us to the moon and disappear after the lossses or the blow-ins that show up to post only when we lose.
