Between 1981-1986, he took 154 wickets in 27 Tests, averaging 14.85/SR 40.9. That for me just about shades Hadlee's 150 in 27 Tests between 1981-985, averaging 17.76/SR 45.6. Not that it's a big gap tbh.

Overall, I'd pick Hadlee as the better bowler. This thread is just for peaks.
