If you could change one law/rule in Test cricket?

Bowl unlimited bouncers. Although that may result in exponential rise of drawn test matches.

starfighter can't stop ranting about it in match threads
I'm one person, and definitely care more than the average person. That said if you didn't find England's go slow on Thursday at least a bit off putting I question if you were paying any attention to the game.

Oh, and correctly capitalise my username ****.

Dead ball if a catch has been completed from a ricochet off another player. Gets rid of all that throwing it back to another player on the field to take the catch whilst over the boundary line.

I think the game could evolve to include more than just 4s and 6s

For example, anything under 80m is a 6
Between 80-100m - 7
Between 100-110m - 8
Between 110-120m - 10
Out of the stadium - 12

Just personally leaves a sour taste in my mouth when a top edge over the keeper for 6 on a short boundary is worth the same value as a shot hit into the top tier if the stand.

Why on earth would you want to take those out of the game?

This would suit a team behind in DLS.

22 off one ball is gettable.

I believe if you touch the ball in air and if either immediately before or immediately after your feet were touching outside of the boundary, it should be given a six. Jump from AND fall on the inside of the boundary to take the catch or slap the ball in. It find it unfair if a batsman is given out otherwise. Most egregious is when fielder both jumps from and lands on the outside of boundary and is allowed to slap ball back in. Shouldn't be a dead ball though.

Double run outs allowed. One ball can get two wickets when both batsmen stuck in the middle.

A no ball should give the opposition 5 free runs, thinking of Bumrah bowling 13 of the 17 no balls in a match. (4 in his last over which took 15 mins!)

Someone probably already said this, but free hits for no-balls in Test matches. Would be dope af
No it wouldn't. It's a poor rule full stop, and is completely unsuited to test cricket. Part of the drama of test cricket is the way a bowler might make a mistake like that and get a batsman out the next delivery anyway. Something like Flintoff's over to Ponting in 2005 would never have happened the way it did, with Flintoff bowling a no ball the delivery before the dismissal. It replaces spontaneous drama with contrived action.

Genuinely, anyone who thinks it's a good idea is a dribbling moron who has no understanding of the game.

Considering I've seen much more credible authorities than you (it's even been been put to the MCC for discussion) think it's a good idea, it's an opinion worth stating.
Ftr I wasn't entirely joking, it would be dope af. Absolutely ridiculous and horrible of course, but still dope
