SCC's Cut & Load hold on for a classic win. As you can see the bowlers really worked hard in those final 10 overs.

Absolute demolition job there. Yet another collapse, easily the most dramatic from what we've seen so far. AB's first defeat is a heavy one.

Edit: The two run outs don't appear in the above graph for some reason.

That equals the lowest ever total in T20 history, which was set by Turkey against the Czech Republic last year. In the first innings, the Czechs equalled the record highest core, and won by 257 runs. https://www.espncricinfo.com/series...republic-vs-turkey-6th-match-romania-cup-2019

An agonising defeat for Honest Hunks. Gilmour & Yardley almost pulled it off with an 18-run 10th wicket partnership.

Unchanged for the next round. Collinge was effective. Dias wasn't but shouldn't get canned after one innings.

Ooh-ah, top of the league

The queen of Lancre has decreed the following round five team:

Greenidge
Fletcher
Reid
Wessels
Botham
Amarnath
Austin
Bari
Woolmer
Miller
Pascoe

Wonder what the AI makes of this bowling, but Sarfraz has not been effective (3 wickets, ER 8.62) and I'd rather keep a spinner.

A strange feature of this tournament is that in each of the 9 times the team batting second has lost, they've been bowled out.
In actual T20s, it's much more common to run out of overs (in internationals, this has happened in 61% of losses - 64% for Test teams).

I'd say the required NRR wreaks havoc with the AI when batting second. Generally speaking the AI seems to be more aggressive when chasing, which can pay off sometimes & other times ends in complete disaster.
