Hrthnik = Aussie?
yup have you seen the performance of Ten Doeschate in the County season he deserves a place more than Luke Ronchi or Owasis ShahThere are no 'chances' here. If someone is good enough for business, he gets a team.
Say, you got your salary yesterday, After covering for your basic necessities, you still have a sizable amount(Say, 1/3rd) left, would you pick three random names off the telephone directory and give them the money or would you save it to buy a house in the future?please give a serious reply
this case is a lot different its for your own good in a way i.e. to get more popularity and recognition in the global arenaSay, you got your salary yesterday, After covering for your basic necessities, you still have a sizable amount(Say, 1/3rd) left, would you pick three random names off the telephone directory and give them the money or would you save it to buy a house in the future?

Good example, picking a South African.yup have you seen the performance of Ten Doeschate in the County season he deserves a place more than Luke Ronchi or Owasis Shah
he plays for Holland not South AfricaGood example, picking a South African.
ICC does not have enough money to implement all these the BCCI has 100 times more money combining all its resourcesThe ICC already does this, no? This thread suggests the BCCI do it on it's own.
Someone brought up the UN-ICC analogy. UN funding happens according to an assessment based on GDP or some such. Is this true for the ICC? (member contributions based on board revenues?)
(I'm guessing it's only indirectly and partially true, ie, the ICC gets a cut of revenues from international games. Bruce's proposal come down to a proposal for the ICC to tax domestic game revenue, if one ignores the issue of marginalizing the ICC)
In which case, unless your aim is to marginalize the ICC, you're merely asking for a higher rate of contribution from membersICC does not have enough money to implement all these the BCCI has 100 times more money combining all its resources
not contribution but a donation or loan of $500 million just for onceIn which case, unless your aim is to marginalize the ICC, you're merely asking for a higher rate of contribution from members
A stream of cash flows can be converted into a PV given a discount rate and an horizon.not contribution but a donation or loan of $500 million just for once
what is PV??A stream of cash flows can be converted into a PV given a discount rate and an horizon.
present value (lump sum)what is PV??
nop just calculate how much or total money that the BCCI got by selling the 10 franchisespresent value (lump sum)
So exactly why are you suggesting that the BCCI contribute at a (very) much higher rate than everyone else?nop just calculate how much or total money that the BCCI got by selling the 10 franchises
$260 million (avg) * 10 + tv rights + ads etc. - the expenditure
