I've obviously seen quite a lot of him since under 15 level. He has all the shots and a good defence, he just doesn't know how to put together innings as he has played hardly any FC cricket. We are well on our way to messing him up.

Though he also does a good job himself, he failed a fitness test so missed out on the squads for Sri Lanka.

Main problem Leach has is the crohn's can flare up at any time and he loses his place for 12 months because the replacement does ok like has just happened. To me he looks a 50 cap+ 200+ wicket spinner and we haven't had many of them in test history.

Have a read a tweet from Caribbean Cricket Podcast that Desmond Haynes "suggested in today's press conference that Shai Hope will get a Test recall". Cannot find any other sources for that but I don't think Shai Hope is completely over with. Hamza, Hetmyer and Paul look like being huge failures from me. Atcher probably as well but I guess England play a lot of Tests and Broad has just retired. A big if but if Archer can stay fit for several years could still maybe challenge that 56 Test figure but it does look unlikely. Mendis, Axar could be pretty close, maybe even Leach who almost certainly exceeds my prediction but if England go 4 seamers plus Root at home might not exceed my guess by too much at 32.

But certainly looks like being a poor showing in terms of my predictions!
